The Rogue & Journal is not just a magazine about adventure. It is a gathering place for Rogue Journalists — people with a sense for adventure, a hunger for stories, and the bad habit of asking questions long after sensible people have gone home.

We came together to share what we have learned from the field, the road, the archive, the map table, and the occasional mistake that looked like a good idea at the time.

The magazine is where those stories find a home.

It is built by people who explore in different ways. Some follow old records, some follow rumours, some follow rivers, ruins, tracks, languages, legends, or the simple feeling that there is something more to be found.
